WELCOME TO MAHONY SCIENCE!
This site is set up so together, we can explore the content you need to know to succeed in science this year. The site will grow as you learn with everything remaining accessible to you at all times. This means it will serve you as a very valuable revision tool!
CONSTANT REVISION and RECALL are key to your success in Year 9 science. Remember to pop back regularly to refresh your knowledge and make your revision notes*.
*There are many ways to revise, you need to establish which one is best for you (notebook, bookcreator, flashcards, selfie-videos, mini white boards and/or posters are just a few ideas). Revision is key and will be instrumental in overcoming THE FORGETTING CURVE which is a fundamental part of learning. You can learn more about the forgetting (also known as the remembering curve) here!👇🏻
When you see the rainbow test tubes 👈🏼 that means we are in the lab doing an experiment.
Remember SAFETY AT ALL TIMES.
