A Sankey diagram shows all the energy transfers in a system.
These diagrams show the energy that flows INTO and OUT OF a system as arrows of various sizes.
THICKER arrows mean more energy.
A Sankey diagram can also show waste energy leaving a system.
This energy is shown as a curved arrow pointing in a different direction to useful energy.
