THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF WAVES             TRANSVERSE  & LONGITUDINAL 

In Transverse waves the energy/wave moves perpendicular to the particles✚

Longitudinal waves are waves where the energy moves parallel to the particles, 

both energy/wave and particle move along 

in the same direction.
